Education for Eternity

Since 1980, BBCS has operated on a single conviction: every area of a child's education belongs to God. Academics, athletics, and the arts are where faith gets tested, practiced, and lived out. Faith. Excellence. Service. These three words describe the standard BBCS has held itself to for more than four decades.

Real discipleship runs through every school day. Students engage Scripture daily, wrestle with real questions, and learn to connect what they believe with how they live. We want graduates who know Christ personally, who can articulate why that matters, and who carry that conviction into real life. John 3:16 · Colossians 2:6–7 · Romans 10:14–15

Pursuing God's best in academics, fine arts, and athletics. Colossians 3:23 calls for doing all things heartily as unto the Lord. That standard applies in the classroom, on the field, and on the stage. BBCS holds a 24-credit graduation requirement, offers dual enrollment for qualifying high school students, and carries GACS and AACS accreditation. We push students because students rise to the standards set for them. Luke 2:52 · Psalm 150 · 1 Corinthians 9:24–27

Students who know Christ and pursue excellence are being prepared to give themselves away. From early grades, BBCS develops a servant's orientation toward family, school, church, and community. The gospel produces people who look outward. Mark 10:43–45 · 1 Peter 4:10–11

Goals for Every Graduate

Luke 2:52 says Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. BBCS's four graduation goals follow that same pattern. Together they describe who a BBCS education is designed to produce.

favor with God

Spiritual

A saving relationship with Christ is where everything else starts. We want graduates who desire to grow in grace, who can apply biblical truth to the real decisions of their lives, and who have the courage to stand for what is right when it costs something.

wisdom

Academic

A teachable spirit. The ability to think critically, write clearly, and engage complex ideas. BBCS prepares graduates for college-level work and for the decades beyond it. The goal is people who can learn, reason, and communicate with integrity for the rest of their lives.

stature

Physical

Discipline of mind and body. Purity. Sound time management. Emotional stability. An appreciation for fine arts as a form of excellence. Physical development at BBCS encompasses athletics, the arts, and the personal disciplines that shape a life ordered well.

favor with man

Social

Respect for authority. A service ethic toward family, neighbors, and country. The discipline to cooperate, work hard, and follow through. The conviction to reject situational ethics when the crowd goes the other direction. A graduate who is dependable, trustworthy, and good to be around.

A word from our administrator.

In Proverbs 19:27 it says “Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.” Those words of knowledge are found in God’s Word, the Bible. Over fifty years ago, as I began to raise my own children, I became convicted that in a society so void of biblical values Christian education must be a vital part of preparing our future generations to love God and love others. A well-rounded education that includes academic excellence, fine arts, and physical development with biblical integration will always be the goal of Bible Baptist Christian School.

I would be delighted to have the opportunity to work with you as you seek to provide this same education for your children.

Yours for Christian Education,

Timothy R. Lee

Where is Bible Baptist Christian School located?

BBCS is located at 2780 Mount Carmel Road in Hampton, Georgia, in Henry County. That's about 30 miles south of Atlanta. We serve families from across the south metro area, including McDonough, Lovejoy, Stockbridge, Fayetteville, and surrounding communities. The campus is 47 acres with classrooms, a full-size gym, an auditorium, and ball fields.

Do I need to be a member of Bible Baptist Church to enroll?

No. BBCS welcomes families from a range of church backgrounds who are committed to a Christ-centered education. You don't need to attend BBC to apply or enroll. We do ask that families review our Statement of Faith and school standards before enrolling.

How do I apply to BBCS?

Start by filling out a quick inquiry form on our admissions page. From there, we'll reach out to schedule a campus visit, walk you through the application, and guide you through placement testing and enrollment. The whole process is designed to be a conversation, not a checklist.

Does BBCS offer financial aid or scholarships?

Yes. BBCS offers financial aid through FACTS, multi-child tuition discounts, and discounts for church members, alumni, and military families. Your child may also qualify for the Georgia Promise Scholarship, a state-funded scholarship for families zoned for or currently attending a low-performing Georgia public school. Contact our admissions office to learn more.
