P: Perseverance – People do not struggle with perseverance when they are successful, but when things are not going well ones perseverance is tested. Outside of extreme circumstances we will not allow athletes to quit. (James 1:2, Isaiah 43:2)

R: Responsibility – Each student-athlete needs to understand that in order to be successful as a team you must be responsible as an individual. This would include position on the team (including sitting on the bench), punctuality, uniform upkeep, and field or court maintenance.

E: Engaged – BBCS student-athletes are encouraged to be engaged with more than just athletics. Students-athletes will learn the importance of being engaged in their local church, families, school (more than just athletics), and communities.

S: Servant – Christ taught for one to be a leader he must serve. BBCS student-athletes will be taught to serve their teammates and their school. In essence, this is an others attitude. (Philippians 2:3)

S: Submission – Life is always about submission. BBCS athletes will be taught submission to coaches, teammates, officials, parents, and administration. Submission involves obedience. In order to be successful, athletes must be willing to obey.
