Parent & Student Handbook

The BBCS Handbook is designed to help parents and students understand our expectations, policies, and procedures. It reflects our desire to maintain a Christ-centered environment of order, accountability, and grace.

Please review it regularly and refer to it when questions arise throughout the year.

Dress Code

At Bible Baptist Christian School, we believe that a student’s appearance reflects the heart. Our dress standards are rooted in biblical principles and designed to encourage responsibility, modesty, and respect for self and others.

We partner with parents to uphold these Christ-centered expectations. Uniforms are required for all grades except on designated days.

General Guidelines for All Students

Uniforms are required for all students K4–12.

Shirts designed to be buttoned must remain buttoned (no more than the top left undone).
Body piercings and tattoos are not permitted.
Uniform polos must include the official BBCS logo.

Boys

Elementary Boys (K4–6)

Tops: Red, white, gray, or black BBCS-logo polos.
Bottoms: Loose-fitting uniform pants or shorts in black, khaki, gray, or navy.
Extras: Dark-colored belt required; no jean material.

High School Boys (7–12)

Tops: Red, white, gray, or black BBCS-logo polos (non-chapel days).
Bottoms: Loose-fitting uniform pants in black, khaki, gray, or navy; dark-colored belt required.
Note: Jean material is not permitted.

Boys

Bottoms: Loose-fitting uniform pants or shorts in black, khaki, gray, or navy.

Tops: White Peter Pan collar or red, white, gray, or black BBCS-logo polos.
Bottoms (K4–3): Khaki or navy jumpers/skirts to the knee, or loose-fitting uniform pants/shorts.
Bottoms (4–6): Khaki or navy skirts to the knee, or uniform pants/shorts in khaki, black, or navy.

High School Girls (7–12)

Tops: Red, white, gray, or black BBCS-logo polos.
Bottoms: Khaki or navy skirts to the knee (daily), or loose-fitting uniform pants in khaki, navy, gray, or black (allowed every day except Wednesdays).
Special event dress guidelines will be shared ahead of time.

Shoes

Shoes must be conservative in color (no neon or eye-catching elements) and fully cover the foot.

Flip-flops and sandals are not allowed during class, chapel, lunch, or academic times.

Girls may wear boots (black, gray, brown, or white) year-round.

Socks must be solid-colored and coordinate with the uniform.

Outerwear

Grades 7–12: Must wear official BBCS uniform outerwear from approved providers.

Elementary: May also wear zip-up jackets/sweatshirts in black, gray, red, or white with minimal graphics.

Note: Hats are not permitted in classrooms.
