Prospective Families

Enrolled Students and Families

During the enrollment process, we collect information about students and their families, including:

Student and parent/guardian names, addresses, and contact information
Emergency contact information
Medical and health information needed for the student's safety and care
Academic and disciplinary records
Billing and tuition payment information

It is expected that information shared with Bible Baptist Christian School during the enrollment process or a student's enrollment is provided with the consent of a parent or guardian.

We take student privacy seriously and limit access to student records to staff with a legitimate educational need.

BBCS serves students of all ages, including children under 13. We do not collect personal information from minors except as part of the enrollment process with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian. Website Visitors

Our website uses Framer Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Framer Analytics counts unique visitors, pageviews, top traffic sources, and top pages. It does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. IP addresses are hashed using a daily rotating key that resets and deletes every 24 hours, so no individual visitor can be identified or tracked across days. No cookies are used and no cookie consent banner is required.

Third-Party Services We Use

Bible Baptist Christian School uses cloud-based software to assist the school in its operations. Personal information may be processed and/or stored in these systems. These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

FACTS / RenWeb — Our Student Information System (SIS). We use FACTS to maintain student records, communicate with parents, and manage tuition and billing. factsmgt.com/privacy-policy

Google Workspace for Education — We create school-issued Google accounts for enrolled students. See the section below for details. workspace.google.com/terms/education_privacy.html

Loops (Astrodon, Inc.) — We use Loops for some parent and community email communications. All Loops emails include an unsubscribe link. loops.so/privacy

OneCause — We use OneCause for event-based fundraising, such as our Feed the Need fundraiser. If you participate in a school fundraising event through OneCause, your information is subject to their privacy policy as well as ours. onecause.com/general/security-privacy-policy

Student Google Accounts

Enrolled students are issued a school Google Workspace for Education account. A few things parents should know:

The email address format is the student's first initial, last name, and the last two digits of their projected graduation year (for example, jmartin27@bbcseagles.com).
These accounts are intended for school use only.
Google's Workspace for Education agreement limits how Google may use data from school-issued student accounts.

Student Photos and Media

Bible Baptist Christian School may photograph or film students at school events and activities, and may post those images on our website and social media channels. A photo and media consent form is available on our website and included in our enrollment paperwork.

How We Use Your Information

With our service providers — We share information with the third-party services listed above (FACTS, Google Workspace, Loops, OneCause) as needed to operate the school. These providers are only given access to the information needed to perform their services.

As required by law — We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of a student, staff member, or the public.

With your consent — We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

Data Retention

We retain student and family records as long as necessary to serve the educational relationship and meet any applicable legal requirements. Financial records are retained in accordance with standard accounting and tax obligations.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or properly dispose of it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold. That said, no method of digital storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We will do our best to honor these requests, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.
